My toes must be slipping because I am having trouble posting. Darn these 8 toes.

WOW! Time has sure "flown" by. Saturday is Festival on the Bayou and I have my own booth of course. There will be special times to meet me and admire my wonderful plumage and you can become an "official member of my fan club" when you play "Pin the COMB on Scooter!". Don't miss it at Sims Bayou Urban Nature Center on May 8th from 11 - 3 PM.

Holiday at the Cabin 2009

Holiday at the Cabin 2009 was so much fun! All my friends came to see me and take pictures with me next to my very own Christmas tree. Here is Aidan posing with his favorite rooster. Santa was there and everybody brought treats galore! I can't wait to open my huge present from Santa! Did you see how big the bow is behind Aidan? I hope it is a giant box of mac & cheese. HO HO HO!

Indoor living

Well ever since the "dog" incident I have been stuck on something called "clerical" duty. I don't mind. I get to hang out in my favorite cabin on this cool perch set up just for me. Being close to the kitchen means that I get lots of treats from Vicki and Mary Anne and nature center visitors. I do like to go out and chase those pesky ducks around every now and then but air conditioned living is pretty nice!

Aidan came to visit this week. He brought yummy mac & cheese! We had wonderful conversations in the cabin and then he got all giggly about this other bird! They made me stay in the kitchen while they had a "special" visit! How rude!!!! Look at the picture. This bird is just plain, plain, plain compared to me! Oh well. At least he didn't get any mac & cheese. I LOVE Aidan! I hope he comes again soon with another treat! Maybe he could bring fettucine alfredo next time. I think I would like to try that!
